A man in his thirties was found deceased on Saturday morning near a motorcycle by the roadside in Saint-Théodore-d’Acton, Montérégie.
Emergency responders confirmed the man’s passing on-site following a report from a concerned citizen about a motorcycle on Route 139 around 8:40 a.m.
Louis-Philippe Ruel, a spokesman for the SQ, stated in an interview with The Canadian Press, “At the moment, we are conducting a collision investigation that has been ongoing throughout the morning. We are working to unravel the sequence of events leading to this tragic incident.”
The SQ disclosed that the man hailed from the Granby area.
