Toronto authorities are actively searching for a young man in connection with a disturbing sexual assault incident in the east end.
The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Devon Plooard, is accused of committing the assault in May 2026 in the vicinity of Gerrard Street East and Coxwell Avenue. Reports indicate that Plooard allegedly brandished a firearm and aimed it at the victim during the assault. Shockingly, the victim later discovered that the perpetrator had recorded the harrowing incident.
Plooard is facing serious charges including two counts of sexual assault, pointing a firearm, and voyeurism.
Described as five-foot-six with light brown hair and blue eyes, Plooard remains at large as police intensify their efforts to locate him.
