Taxi Driver Discovers Critically Stabbed 21-Year-Old; Victim Dies in Hamilton Hospital, Police Report

A tragic incident unfolded in Hamilton as a 21-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in the hospital following a stabbing incident discovered by a taxi driver in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Hamilton Police officers swiftly responded to the scene at Frid Street and Main Street West near Highway 403 around 2:30 a.m. after the victim was located. Despite efforts to save him, the man was pronounced dead upon arrival at a Hamilton hospital.

Authorities have classified the case as a homicide and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack. It is believed that the victim was involved in an altercation the previous evening near Paradise Road North and King Street West, a short distance from where he was found.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have relevant dash-camera or surveillance footage between 2 and 2:45 a.m. to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
