Waterloo regional police are currently looking into an incident where a man was sprayed with a harmful substance by an unidentified woman in Cambridge on Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of Glebe and St Andrews streets, close to the Grand River. The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received medical treatment. The woman left the scene before the police arrived.
Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to identify the woman linked to the incident. A photo of the woman in question has been released for identification purposes.
