The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) says it is investigating after a home was struck by gunfire early Sunday morning.
Officers say they were called to the residence, located on Enderby Street near McMillan Road, shortly after 1 a.m.
The AbbyPD says the home was occupied, but residents were asleep at the time of the shooting and no injuries have been reported.
Police say the motive is unclear, but the incident does not appear to be related to extortion.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or who may have dashdam footage from the area between midnight and 1 a.m. Aug. 16 is asked to call the AbbyPD at 604-859-5225 and refer to file 2026-34840.
