A 43-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being stabbed in downtown Montreal Tuesday evening.
Montreal police (SPVM) received several 911 calls around 8 p.m. reporting a man with an injury at Cabot Square near Sainte-Catherine Street West and Atwater Avenue.
Police and paramedics found the man with stabbing wounds to his upper body.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition, but his life was no longer in danger as of Wednesday morning, according SPVM spokesperson Raphael Bergeron.
A security perimeter was established at the scene as investigators collected evidence.
No arrests were made. The investigation is ongoing.
