Suspect with ‘yellow, bad teeth’ sought in Burlington bank robbery

Halton Regional Police officers are on the lookout for a bank robber with questionable dental hygiene.

The suspect, described by police as a white man around 25 years old with “very yellow, bad teeth” entered a Bank of Montreal (BMO) branch at 519 Brant Street in Burlington on Thursday at around 5:40 p.m.

“Upon entering the bank, the suspect jumped the counter and targeted rolls of coin and cash from accessible drawers,” a Halton police release states. “BMO staff and a customer were present inside the bank at the time of the robbery.”

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran out a back door and into a dark coloured sedan.

“No weapons were seen or indicated and no physical injuries sustained,” the release adds.

Police say he was wearing a grey hoodie at the time, and had short, light coloured or brown hair.
