CAQ’s slogan during Quebec election campaign will be “Let’s move forward”

Arguing that “this is not the time to back down”, the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) will focus on the slogan “Let’s move forward” during the election campaign which will begin in a few days.

Premier and CAQ leader Christine Fréchette unveiled her party’s slogan in a short video released Monday morning on social media.

In it, she explains that “the world is changing rapidly” and that “Quebec must not fall behind.”

“Our economy is threatened and the cost of living is high. (…) We must protect our workers, our families, our seniors. We must give everyone the means to go further. Above all, we must build the future of our nation. So, let’s move forward,” Fréchette argues in the video.

“Let’s move forward” thus succeeds “Let’s continue”, which was the CAQ’s slogan in 2022. The party, led at the time by François Legault, was then seeking to be given a second mandate.

The CAQ was the only party that had not yet unveiled its slogan in anticipation of the Oct. 5 elections.

The Parti Québécois will focus on “The choice of trust”, while the Liberal Party of Quebec will campaign under the theme “Unite. Repair. Build”.

Québec solidaire’s slogan will be “It’s possible”, while that of the Conservative Party of Quebec will be “Dare for real”.

The election campaign is expected to begin towards the end of the week.
