Authorities in Windsor have apprehended a man from Mississauga in connection with a tragic triple shooting incident that occurred in Etobicoke back in 2022.
Police were alerted to the sound of gunshots at 150 Thirtieth Street on the day of Monday, January 3, 2022.
Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered two men and a woman who had sustained injuries. All three individuals were rushed to the hospital, where the two men succumbed to their injuries. The woman, however, managed to survive.
The victims were later identified as Minyali Wur, aged 24, and Chudier Reat, aged 20, both hailing from Mississauga.
In a recent development on Saturday, August 22, 2026, Darriel Thompson, a resident of Mississauga, was taken into custody by the Windsor Police.
Thompson now faces charges including two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
