Authorities in Halton Region are on the lookout for a car involved in a tragic accident that took the life of a woman in Burlington last Thursday.
According to investigators, the woman was hit at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Richmond Road at approximately 3:45 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly left the scene heading north on Maple Avenue in a dark-colored sedan. Police anticipate the car will show visible front-end damage from the collision.
