Authorities have arrested a Milton man in connection with a human trafficking investigation unfolding in the Greater Toronto Area. The suspect, identified as Terrell Trench, 34, is facing a slew of charges related to the exploitation of a female victim through deceptive means, coercion, and control.
According to police, the victim was allegedly transported to various locations across the GTA for sexual services, with all earnings surrendered to and retained by the accused. The investigation, which commenced in June, culminated in the apprehension of Trench on Wednesday.
Trench now faces a total of 12 charges, including human trafficking offenses and firearms-related allegations such as trafficking in persons, benefiting from sexual services, and firearm possession without a license, among others. Authorities have also disclosed an image of Trench and are urging anyone with information or potential additional victims to come forward.
