Police Hunt Man Suspected of Photographing 11-Year-Old in Kew Gardens Restroom

A man is being sought by Toronto police for reportedly taking unauthorized photos of a young girl in a washroom at Kew Gardens.

According to authorities, the unsettling incident occurred on a Tuesday afternoon at around 4 p.m. in the vicinity of Queen Street East and Lee Avenue within the park.

Reportedly, the male suspect was already inside the washroom when the 11-year-old girl entered and proceeded to use a stall. It is alleged that he then surreptitiously captured photos of her through the gaps in the stall.

Upon realizing what had occurred, the girl sought assistance, prompting the suspect to quickly leave the scene.

The individual in question is described as a Black male aged between 27 and 30, standing at approximately five-foot-10 with a medium-to-athletic build. He is noted to have black hair styled in a grown-out buzz cut with tiny curls, and a short beard.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was observed wearing a black baseball cap, black-framed sunglasses, a black shirt featuring a white “arctic” logo, black shorts, and black running shoes.

Law enforcement officials urge anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the occurrence to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
