Early in the morning on [day], a violent incident took place in Montreal’s Ville-Marie borough, leaving a 34-year-old man injured. According to Caroline Chèvrefils, a media relations officer, police were alerted around 1:30 a.m. about a man who had been attacked with a sharp object near René-Lévesque Boulevard and Drummond Street.
Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered the victim with upper body injuries from the assault. The man was swiftly taken to the hospital for treatment of serious wounds, though his life is not believed to be in jeopardy.
