A man has been arrested in connection with a human trafficking case involving a young girl.
Authorities in Hamilton reported that a man approached a 15-year-old girl and offered to arrange sexual services on her behalf. Additionally, he requested the girl’s involvement in producing pornographic material.
The investigation was initiated following the discovery of a video circulating on social media.
Ariel Rojas was apprehended and charged with criminal harassment, solicitation for sexual contact, engaging in sexual activity with a minor, and four violations of probation terms.
Law enforcement has shared Rojas’ photo in the hopes of identifying any potential additional victims or witnesses.
