A tragic single-vehicle crash in Chilliwack early Monday morning has resulted in the loss of one life and left three others injured, according to a statement from the Chilliwack RCMP.
Authorities responded to a call at the intersection of Boundary Road and Number 4 Road shortly after midnight, where they discovered a vehicle that had veered off the road. Aerial footage from a drone reveals the extent of the damage, with the overturned vehicle lying some distance from the roadway.
BC Emergency Health Services reported that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Mounties have enlisted the expertise of the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) to aid in the investigation of the crash’s cause.
