Toronto Man Charged for Allegedly Using Snapchat to Prey on Minors

A man from Toronto is in legal trouble once again for reportedly exploiting multiple underage victims via social media and committing sexual assaults.

The latest incident involves the discovery of a new victim, in addition to the one who was lured in June.

According to investigators, the suspect, identified as Kaden Charles-Robinson, 21, allegedly used a Snapchat account under the username “K_Charles55” to lure an underage victim on June 5. Subsequently, the victim was met and allegedly sexually assaulted by the suspect.

Further investigations revealed that Robinson engaged in online conversations with another underage victim in April 2024, this time using an Instagram account with the handle “@k_charles789.” Police claim that Robinson persuaded the victim to send sexual videos and reciprocated by sending explicit videos of himself.

It is alleged that Robinson arranged to meet this victim at a park in Etobicoke, where the victim was reportedly sexually assaulted. Robinson is also accused of threatening the victim with a firearm and attempting to force her into his car, though the victim managed to escape the situation.

As a consequence, Robinson now faces additional charges connected to these incidents.

Investigators suspect that there may be more victims involved and urge anyone with relevant information to reach out to the authorities.
