Two individuals have been apprehended following a reported intrusion at a residential complex in Vancouver during the early hours, as confirmed by the Vancouver Police Department (VPD).
A vigilant observer, overseeing security footage at a property close to Quebec Street and East 1st Avenue, observed two individuals purportedly attempting to break into a storage unit in the parking facility around 12:30 a.m.
Law enforcement promptly intervened and apprehended the pair on-site.
VPD identified the suspects as Jesse Sokol, aged 42, and Nikita Silverquill, aged 32, who were discovered in possession of presumed stolen items from the storage unit, in addition to knives and burglary tools.
Both individuals are charged with break-and-enter as well as possession of burglary implements.
