An unexpected diesel spill early this morning has led to the partial closure of the 20 West access to 13 North, causing disruptions for the morning commute on Tuesday. The incident, which was attributed to a puncture in the fuel tank of a semi truck, resulted in a spill of diesel fuel near the Highway 13 and Highway 20 interchange.
Authorities from the Sûreté du Quebec (SQ) immediately initiated a clean-up operation around 4 a.m. The clean-up effort is estimated to last approximately four hours, impacting the morning traffic flow in the area.
