Authorities in Montreal are currently probing a mysterious incident following the discovery of an unconscious woman in her 40s in a downtown apartment building on Tuesday afternoon.
The Montreal Police Service (SPVM) had been alerted for a wellness check at approximately 3:25 p.m. at the building situated on René-Lévesque Boulevard, close to Saint-Christophe Street, within the Ville-Marie neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers encountered the woman in an unconscious state.
SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant mentioned, “An operation is currently in progress to conduct thorough examinations inside the building where the woman was located.”
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
