Tragic Accident Claims Life of Woman in Highway 13 Construction Zone
A fatal accident occurred on Thursday in Laval when a woman in her 40s crashed into construction machinery on Highway 13. The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) reported that the incident took place around 2 a.m. within a construction zone.
Witnesses observed the driver behaving erratically leading up to the collision. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene shortly after emergency responders arrived.
Following the incident, the left northbound lane of Highway 13 was temporarily closed to traffic for investigation but has since been reopened for commuters.
