Authorities have arrested a 45-year-old man, Ousmane Bah from Quebec City, for allegedly making death threats online towards Prime Minister Mark Carney. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) reported that Bah posted these threats on Facebook, leading to charges of uttering threats and promoting hatred against a specific group.
Following an investigation initiated on July 6, Bah recently appeared in court on September 24 and is currently in custody until his next hearing scheduled for October 1.
