“Pedestrian Hit in Brossard: Vehicle Incident Raises Safety Concerns”

A man in his 30s was hit by a vehicle in Brossard early Thursday morning. Longueuil police (SPAL) were alerted to the incident at around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Du Quartier Boulevard and Du Chardonneret Street.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to assist the injured pedestrian before he was transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the man is reported to be in stable condition following the accident.

To allow investigators to examine the area, traffic on Du Quartier Boulevard was temporarily diverted. By 8:30 a.m., normal traffic flow had resumed as the restrictions were lifted.

Authorities have stated that no foul play is suspected in the incident, though the investigation is still ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
