The Burnaby RCMP has officially filed charges after a nearly two-year investigation into a fatal collision. The incident, which resulted in the tragic deaths of a Burnaby couple, has led to 27-year-old Adam Jones-Veneziano from Abbotsford facing two counts of dangerous driving causing death. The collision occurred on December 21, 2024, when Jones-Veneziano allegedly crashed into a car while traveling northbound on Boundary Road, striking a vehicle heading westbound on Forest Street.
While the charges have been approved by the British Columbia Prosecution Service, they have yet to be tried in court.
