Toronto’s Thanksgiving Weekend Weather Forecast
As Toronto gears up for the Thanksgiving weekend, all eyes are on Hurricane Isaias, which is projected to hit the region either Friday night or Saturday morning. This could potentially impact the holiday plans for many residents.
The weekend is expected to kick off with a mix of sun and cloud, offering a mild and dry start with temperatures reaching a high of 19°C. However, windy conditions are likely to persist, with gusts of up to 50 kilometres per hour and temperatures dropping to 7°C overnight.
Saturday is forecasted to be a pleasant day with a mix of sun and cloud, and a daytime high of 19°C, followed by a drop to 11°C in the evening. While some patchy fog may greet early risers, the day is set to be relatively warm and sunny.
Sunday will see a mild start with increasing cloud cover, leading to scattered showers and periods of rain that could bring between 10 and 15 millimetres of rainfall. Despite the rain, temperatures are expected to remain warm, reaching a high of 20°C.
By Thanksgiving Monday, the weather is anticipated to improve, with early showers giving way to sunny breaks in the afternoon. The high temperature is forecasted to reach 22°C, providing ideal conditions for outdoor activities.
Looking ahead, a shift towards cooler and more fall-like weather is expected to begin next Wednesday.
