The event kicks off with a meet-up at Square Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier, just a short stroll from Place-Saint-Henri metro station. Amid the challenging economic climate and housing insecurities stemming from the housing crisis, organizers are rallying to shed light on the harsh realities faced by those affected by homelessness.
A solidarity march is set to kick off around 1:30 p.m. along Notre-Dame Street, making a pit stop at Atwater Avenue for an inspiring speech before continuing on its path towards Lionel-Groulx metro station.
In a departure from a singular vigil, the organizers have planned a series of events scattered across the city.
