Canucks Celebrate Diwali with Vibrant New Logo Unveiling!

Canucks enthusiasts gearing up for Diwali festivities can now showcase their team spirit with a unique custom jersey.

Designed by Surrey-based artist, Suki Kaur, the jersey features intricate elements such as a flame, a peacock, the night sky, and traditional phulkari patterns.

Kaur expressed the significance of the phulkari design, stating, “It holds a special place in Punjabi fashion, but it transcends cultural boundaries as Diwali is a celebration for all communities.”

With this being the fifth year of the team’s Diwali merchandise release, fans are eager for more offerings in the future.

One enthusiastic fan, Arjan Attwal, shared his excitement, saying, “I can’t wait to attend the Diwali game and see the jersey in person!”

Aside from the jerseys, fans can opt for more budget-friendly merchandise like hats, hoodies, and pucks, but the jerseys are priced at $750, prompting mixed reactions among supporters.

While some appreciate the design, others like fan Austin Taylor find the price tag steep, suggesting, “For $750, it should come with front-row seats and a meal!”

Mark your calendars as the Canucks will be celebrating Diwali on Nov. 1 in Abbotsford and Nov. 5 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
