Montreal’s Own Auger-Aliassime Storms into European Championship Final!

Canadian Tennis Star Felix Auger-Aliassime Advances to European Open Final

In an exciting match at the European Open, Montreal’s own Felix Auger-Aliassime emerged victorious against Belgium’s Raphael Collignon with a score of 7-6 (2), 6-4 in the semifinals of the tennis tournament.

Showing his prowess on the court, Auger-Aliassime delivered an impressive performance, serving up eight aces and committing just one double fault while dominating with a 78% success rate on his first-serve points.

Not only did Auger-Aliassime showcase his strong serve, but he also capitalized on one of his three break-point opportunities during the one-hour, 45-minute match.

On the other side of the court, Collignon put up a good fight with five aces, but his four double faults and inability to create any break-point chances ultimately led to his defeat.

Looking ahead to the final showdown, the second-seeded Auger-Aliassime is set to go head-to-head with the third-seeded Jiri Lehecka from Czechia on Sunday.
