A man from Toronto, identified as Derek Wayne Brown, 53, has been arrested and charged by York Regional Police for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor in Richmond Hill last year. According to authorities, the incident took place on Sept. 12, 2024, when the accused contacted the minor through an online platform with the intention of engaging in sexual activities. The suspect reportedly arranged to meet the minor in the Lake Wilcox neighborhood of Richmond Hill where the assault occurred.
Brown faces charges of sexual assault and obtaining sexual services for consideration. Police have expressed concerns that there may be other potential victims and have released his photo to encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward. The accused, who goes by the alias “Tyler” and is known on social media as “@donttnoone,” is currently under investigation by the authorities.
