Longueuil authorities are investigating a concerning incident where a newborn baby was discovered in a bus shelter on Montreal’s South Shore. The discovery was made after a 911 call reported the presence of an infant in the shelter located on Chambly Road. Police have urged caution in the area and promised to provide more details as the investigation progresses.
This incident follows a similar case from less than a month ago when a newborn baby boy was found abandoned on a doorstep in the St-Hubert area of Longueuil. In response to that case, authorities released surveillance footage and have been diligently working through over 30 pieces of information to locate the child’s parents.
