“Community on Edge: Serial Tire Slasher Captured in North Vancouver After Rampage”

A series of tire slashings in North Vancouver has led to the arrest of a suspect by the local police. The North Vancouver RCMP received reports of 16 slashed tires in the Lynn Valley neighborhood between October 25 and 26. The targeted vehicles were mostly parked along Kirkstone Road, Viewlynn Drive, Lynn Valley Road, and Mountain Highway, with the incidents likely occurring during the daytime.

The tires were found to have been slashed or punctured by a sharp object in most cases. While the police have made an arrest based on CCTV footage, they believe there may still be unreported instances of tire vandalism.

The suspect, who was apprehended on Monday afternoon, is currently in custody pending further investigation. The Mounties have a dedicated team actively reviewing the evidence to ensure a thorough examination of the case.

Authorities urge anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has relevant video footage to come forward and contact the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311, quoting file 25-22526.
