Montreal’s CityNews Earns Top Honors in Canadian Broadcast Journalism
CityNews Montreal has achieved a prestigious accolade by receiving a national award that celebrates excellence in Canadian broadcast journalism.
Pamela Pagano, a talented video journalist, clinched the RTDNA Canada award for her outstanding sports reporting in the “video category” of Best Canadian Local News. The award ceremony took place in Toronto on a Saturday evening.
Pagano’s remarkable piece titled “Montreal Water Polo Athlete Inspires Young Black Canadians to Dive into the Sport” portrays the uplifting story of 17-year-old Montreal resident, Jason Joseph.
