Pedestrian Critically Injured in Collision with Pickup Truck at Busy Toronto Intersection

A man in his 30s was seriously injured after being hit by a pick-up truck early Wednesday morning in Toronto. The incident occurred at the intersection of Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West near Casa Loma around 6:42 a.m. Emergency responders swiftly took the injured pedestrian to the hospital for urgent medical care.

Fortunately, the driver of the pick-up truck stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the police’s investigation. However, the collision led to the closure of the westbound lanes of St. Clair Avenue West at Bathurst Street during the morning rush hour.
