Police are on scene in Markham after a dump truck was struck by a train on Thursday morning.
The collision occurred on Kennedy Road between Carlton Road and Highway 7. Officers with York Regional Police were called to the area just after 8:30 a.m.
Police say the driver of the truck was not injured.
The area is closed to traffic and police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
