On Tuesday afternoon, a man in his 40s suffered critical injuries when he was stabbed in the vicinity of Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto.

The perpetrator managed to flee before law enforcement arrived. Described as a male individual sporting a red hat, he was last sighted possibly heading southbound on Dufferin from Roselawn Avenue.
