The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) revealed that the incident unfolded on the afternoon of November 26 when a city employee received a call from an agitated man who threatened harm against municipal staff.
Police swiftly arrived at Burlington City Hall to investigate the situation. As a precaution, City Hall was shut down for the rest of the day, with employees being sent home while law enforcement ensured the premises’ safety.
