Authorities in Toronto have reported the arrest and charging of a local dentist in connection with two separate alleged sexual assaults at a dental clinic in the city’s northwest area.
According to investigators, a 34-year-old woman was purportedly sexually assaulted by the accused while undergoing treatment at the Smiles on Steeles dental clinic in North York on November 17. The incident occurred near the intersection of Jane Street and Steeles Avenue West.
Similarly, on November 20, a 29-year-old woman reported being assaulted at the same clinic during a treatment session.
The suspect, identified as 61-year-old William Gutierrez from Toronto, was apprehended by officers on November 23. He now faces two charges of sexual assault.
Gutierrez is expected to make a court appearance on January 6, 2026.
Authorities are concerned that there may be additional victims who have yet to come forward. They are urging anyone with relevant information to reach out to the Toronto police directly.
