Vancouver Police Clear Any Foul Play in Tragic High-Rise Death of Young Girl in Yaletown

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) has completed its investigation into the tragic death of a young girl who fell from a high-rise balcony in Yaletown last month. The incident occurred on November 11 in a residential building near Nelson Street and Expo Boulevard, prompting a swift response from first responders who unfortunately could not save the eight-year-old’s life. VPD Constable Tania Visintin confirmed that the fall was deemed a tragic accident, with no criminality involved in the heartbreaking incident.

In the wake of the young girl’s passing, a community fundraiser has been set up to aid her grieving family. The GoFundMe campaign has already raised more than $50,000, demonstrating the outpouring of support for the family during this difficult time.
