Authorities in York Region are on the hunt for several individuals after a break-in occurred in Richmond Hill.
According to reports, law enforcement officers were alerted to a residence in the vicinity of Bayview Avenue and 16th Avenue on Thursday evening.
“Frontline Officers, our Canine Unit, and personnel from our Air Support Unit conducted a thorough search of the surroundings but were unsuccessful in locating the suspects,” stated the police department via a social media update.
“Uniformed and undercover officers will be conducting a comprehensive investigation in the neighborhood, going from door to door to gather any possible evidence or video footage,” they added.
It has been confirmed that the individuals residing in the home were unharmed during the incident.
