Vancouver authorities are currently looking into a recent incident where a vehicle driver hit and harmed two pedestrians on Wednesday evening.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, the pedestrians were crossing the intersection of West 49th Avenue and Montgomery Street in the southern part of the city at approximately 6 p.m. when the accident occurred.
Paramedics from BC Emergency Health Services swiftly arrived at the scene with two ambulances, providing urgent care to the injured individuals before transporting them to the hospital in a “serious but stable condition.”
The driver responsible for the collision remained at the location following the incident.
Constable Darren Wong of the VPD mentioned, “This incident is currently being investigated,” during a statement on Thursday morning.
