Montreal police are currently looking into a violent attack that happened in the early hours of the morning, leaving a 36-year-old man wounded in the Sud-Ouest neighborhood.
The incident took place at approximately 4:20 a.m. within an apartment on Rue Hurteau, close to Rue Allard and Rue Raudot. The victim sustained an injury to his upper body and was promptly taken to the hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition and conscious.
Authorities later apprehended a 32-year-old man who is suspected to have been involved in the assault. Despite being unharmed, the individual was arrested at the location and taken to a detention facility for questioning by investigators.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear at this time, as per the police.
