Vancouver authorities have apprehended a 26-year-old man who went missing while on bail for the manslaughter of a taxi driver. The suspect, Jordan Conway, was located by the Vancouver emergency response team on Tuesday following a Canada-wide warrant.
Conway was being sought in connection with the death of Aden Hersi, a 69-year-old taxi driver who was reportedly attacked by a passenger near the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station in August 2022. Hersi sustained severe injuries from the assault and tragically passed away in November of the following year.
Initially arrested in September 2024 and subsequently released on bail, Conway became the subject of a nationwide manhunt after authorities issued a warrant for his arrest on October 7. He is currently in custody awaiting his next court appearance.
