“Six Arrested in Major York Region Crackdown on Drugs and Firearms”

York Regional Police have arrested four men and two women as part of a comprehensive investigation involving drugs and firearms across several areas in Ontario.

The investigation was initiated in October 2025 to probe suspected cocaine trafficking activities.

Over the course of three months, officials carried out nine search warrants at various locations in Toronto, Vaughan, Barrie, Espanola, and Innisfil. Additionally, a search warrant was executed at a federal prison in Gravenhurst.

During the searches, law enforcement seized 102 kilograms of cocaine, a loaded firearm, and over $135,000 in cash.

Among those arrested were Sherrie Donovan, 40, from Espanola, and William Donovan, 29, from Toronto, who were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

Other individuals facing charges are Kevin Forde, 36, and Solange Khan, 35, both from Barrie. Khan also faces an additional charge for conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

Doniele Elie, 33, of no fixed address, was charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine, while John Novak, 67, from Espanola, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
