Peel police have made significant progress in solving a tragic incident as they apprehended and charged three individuals in relation to a fatal shooting in Brampton.
The incident, which took place near Shoppers World on Main Street on December 8, saw a 25-year-old male victim fatally shot while driving out of a plaza. The suspects allegedly approached his vehicle and opened fire, resulting in the victim’s untimely death.
Elijah Turney, 20, and Malik Young, 20, both residents of Brampton, along with Omar Ayah, 25, from Toronto, were taken into custody following a thorough investigation. The trio faces charges of first-degree murder and is set to attend bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Authorities have emphasized that this was an isolated incident and reassured the public that there is no ongoing threat to safety in the area.
