Operation Red Nose is wrapping up its 42nd holiday campaign by providing safe rides for New Year’s Eve celebrants across more than 60 communities in Canada, with a significant presence in Quebec.
Since late November, thousands of volunteers have been dedicated to ensuring people have a reliable and secure means of transportation to avoid impaired driving on this festive night. Partnered with Desjardins and the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec, this initiative emphasizes the importance of planning a safe return home after New Year’s celebrations.
Under the theme “a well-tuned return,” Operation Red Nose promotes responsible decision-making and highlights the value of volunteerism in keeping the roads safe. The public is encouraged to either utilize the service or support it in various ways, contributing to road safety as we approach the end of 2025.
