“Canadian Woman Faces Charges for Illegally Crossing U.S. Border and Assaulting Agent with a Kick to the Face”

A Canadian woman is facing charges in the United States after allegedly kicking a border agent in Washington state. The incident occurred at the Peace Arch border crossing, where she was denied entry due to possessing a marijuana vape pen.

According to U.S. district court documents, the woman is charged with assault on a federal officer and improper entry following the altercation on Tuesday. Despite being denied entry, she was later seen crossing into the buffer zone at Peace Arch State Park, an area where people from both countries can interact.

Border agents claim she became aggressive, using profanity, resisting arrest, and ultimately kicking a female supervisor in the face. The accused, however, maintains that her actions were unintentional and that she was simply trying to meet her fiancé to retrieve their dog.

The woman is scheduled to appear in court later this month to address the charges against her.
