Arson Suspected as Flames Engulf Mississauga Home: Authorities Investigate

Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out at a residence in Mississauga early on Sunday morning as a possible case of arson.

Firefighters rushed to 1942 Kempton Park Drive, near Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue West, around 12:30 a.m. to find the home engulfed in smoke and flames.

Fortunately, emergency crews were able to quickly put out the fire, and there were no reported injuries.

Initial assessments suggest that the fire may have been deliberately started, leading officials to treat the incident as a suspected case of arson.

Peel Regional Police have not disclosed any further information regarding the circumstances surrounding the fire.
