Halton Regional Police have apprehended a 44-year-old man from Brampton for engaging in an indecent act on a GO train last spring.
According to a statement released on Monday, the man was reported to have “engaged in self-pleasuring behavior in the presence of a female passenger” while traveling on a GO train on Sunday, April 26, 2025.
Following the incident that occurred on a train journeying from Fairview Burlington Station to Toronto Union Station, authorities sought public assistance in identifying the suspect.
Described as continuously engaging in inappropriate behavior while maintaining eye contact with the female passenger, the suspect was later identified by investigators.
The man was taken into custody on January 2, 2026, and charged with one count of Indecent Act. He was subsequently released with a promise to appear in court in Milton at a later date, as per police reports.
