“Paramedic Heroes Injured in Dramatic Hwy 401 Collision with Dump Truck and Fire Engine”

Two paramedics have been injured and hospitalized following a collision involving a dump truck and a fire truck along Highway 401 in Bowmanville, as reported by Ontario Provincial Police.

The specific extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time.

According to OPP, the ambulance carrying the paramedics was hit by a dump truck in the vicinity of Bennett Road. The impact of the collision caused the ambulance to be pushed into a fire truck that was already present at the scene dealing with a separate vehicle rollover.

Authorities have taken action against the 67-year-old dump truck driver, charging him with careless driving.
