Blaze in Saint-Leonard Rips Through Apartment, Leaves Six Homeless

Firefighters rushed to a major fire at the corner of Aimé-Renaud and Dauphine streets in the Saint-Leonard neighborhood of Montreal. The blaze, classified as a third-alarm incident by the Montreal Fire Department, tore through a two-story residential building that housed three separate apartments.

Upon arrival, emergency responders evacuated the six residents living in the building, who were later assisted by the Red Cross in finding temporary accommodations.

In a public safety announcement shared on various social media platforms, the fire department issued a warning about potential power disruptions in the vicinity and advised the public to steer clear of the affected area for safety reasons.
