Authorities in Toronto are currently looking into three separate shooting occurrences that took place in Scarborough on Monday evening, where gunfire incidents were reported in various neighborhoods over a span of three hours.
The first incident was reported around 8:59 p.m. in the vicinity of Danforth Road and Pringdale Gardens Circle, following reports of gunshots by local residents. Police found evidence of gunfire at the scene, but there were no reports of injuries or damage to any properties. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Shortly after, at 9:18 p.m., law enforcement responded to another shooting incident at a residence near Ellesmere Road and Markham Road. Evidence of gunfire was discovered, and a house window was found to have been damaged. Fortunately, no individuals inside the house were harmed.
A third shooting incident occurred in the same area of Ellesmere and Markham at 11:54 p.m. Once again, police found evidence of gunfire, with a home sustaining damage from the incident. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported in connection with this incident either.
While investigators have not confirmed any links between the three incidents, they all occurred in Scarborough and within a relatively short time frame.
As of now, no details about potential suspects have been disclosed. Authorities urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigations.
